This app is absolutely worthless because the fact that I now have to pay which is ridiculous. Worst update and decision so far. please remove the $20 fee

I broke down and bought this liking the interface of the watch from pictures. Guess what, you cant keep score and using it on the course is so cumbersome. You can input score but there is no way to ever see your total score -- useless. It also doesnt advance to the next hole so you have to swipe back then scroll through the whole list to manually get to the next hole. It makes you angry to use it. I had to stop as there is nothing worse than feeling annoyed as you tee off on the next hole.

You cant use this app unless you pay membership. So useless as a "free" app

Picked this app up when it was free for app of the week a while back. Have really enjoyed the iPhone app. Has a few quirks. Could have a little more user friendly and sleek interface but the 3d course models have been great in my experience. The watch app on the other hand was great until they updated it. When it first came out I loved it. Ever since they updated it the watch app has been terrible. Doesnt auto progress to the next whole anymore after putting score in. Unstable. Not a good update. The watch app is the main reason for the 2 star review. Id give the iPhone app almost 4.

This used to be my go to golf gps app but now I will only use one that is free with the apple watch.. This app is no longer relevant try Hole19 app its the best Ive found so far

Dont put free app when you have to pay to use it.

Best app Ive used and plenty of battery life after 18 holes. Yard ages are accurate and stat tracking is exactly what I needed

Ive been using this app for well over a year now and I can honestly say it is the best golf GPS app that Ive used. The 3D interface is great. It shows all of the important information about the hole and removes all of the unnecessary distractions that you would get with a satellite image. I havent golfed a round without it! The app support is also fantastic. Ive only found one course that I play that wasnt in the app. I requested the course and it was available in a couple weeks. I also requested an update to a course that changed completely, and it was also just made available a couple weeks after the request. I havent used the apple watch version, but I cant find anything bad to say about the iPhone version.

This is the only golf app I ever use. It is always accurate and I have yet to find a course that isnt available. I use it for yardage and also to keep score. Its not too bad on the battery drain either. Tracking each shot is a bit of a pain and my only complaint. But other than that its a fantastic app. I highly recommend it

This app doesnt synch with Apple Watch anymore. Please fix

It said it was free. Then once you located a course it wanted you to pay $19. Classic bait and switch. If it was a good app I would have more than willingly paid for it.

Excellent update. Much better on watch. Improved battery life

Quickly see your location, yardage to the hole and other key yardage. 3D view is amazing!!! Keep score, set parameters for club recommendations. Keep track of handicap, GIRs, fairways. The list of capabilities goes on and on. Hope this one doesnt change like the other sellouts.

I used Apple Watch app mostly. It was fine until the Watch app disappeared after I upgraded my iPhone from 5S to 6S Plus. The iPhone iOS app FunGolf GPS is still working fine but I need to get the Watch app back. Im hopeful FunGolf will help me fix this problem.

This app looks pretty nice in terms of features and functionality, but then again, thats just at face value considering it seems to be fake free. Sure its listed as free, but upon download youll realize that the app offers nothing but offers to pay $20 (yearly) or $40 (lifetime). Nothing wrong with wanting to make money off your app (and Im not opposed to spending $40-$50 if the app is really good), but shame on the company for positioning the app as free with in-app purchase when the "free" version does nothing more than force you to create an account and then shows you virtually nothing. Waste of time.

Free? Really? This "free" app does nothing more than let you see a course in France most will never play. To actually use the app requires an in app purchase of just under $20. Lots of other golf GPS apps that are truly free with paid upgrades for extra features are available but their basic distance features are truly free. Move along, nothing to see here.

Not sure why people says you cant use for free, the only reason why you need to pay is if you want to use it with iwatch or other smat watches, Ive been using this app for years and have tried others and I keep liking this better than the rest, it provides accurate distance, quicker refresh/update on current location and distance to hole, all in all I am very pleased with the app
