Fun Golf GPS App Reviews

Ive bought GoltShot and tried Mobitee. This is pretty much comparable, with added 3D which is very nice. I wonder why I never heard of it until now. Most local courses are there (Quebec area), including satellite and 3D views.

Have recommended to lots of friends to start trying it out. Think its great app that all holders should have

Works well on courses that are available, 5 stars instead of 4 to offset the two idiots who thought this was a game

Im with Ohsagirl...... Dont know how to get started or hit the ball. Got my golf courses BUT cant play them! Have to close game.... Need instructions......

Works great, stats and recording the shots is great. Only problem is the Gps position on the Map is off on some holes by 100 yards, it can be manually adjusted on the map but takes Time. Despite this drawback it will be my go to Golf Gps and Stats tracker.

Hard to use / worst part is it crashes on almost every shot I am trying to record.

Always 10 to 20 yards short. Otherwise it is very good Corrections I discovered today that I am using the metric setting, changed it to yards and the problem is solved.giving it a four stars now

A couple of stability issues but very good all round.

Easy to use, awesome 2D and 3D views, and even has shot suggestions. Easily the best Golf GPS on the App Store. I would gladly pay big bucks for this app.

Reported an issue with course name misspelling and incorrect hole details. Within 30 mins of issue reporting an email follow up was sent to my email advising me the issue has been resolved including instructions how to get updates. What a speedy service! Great app although occasional freezing when trying to send scorecards to friends. Also, the sent scorecard would be nice to be able to share all the details such as Fairways hit and GIR etc. sometimes I take scores for friends and these info are not shareable except for taking screenshots. Would be a nice to have. Keep it up guys!

Great 3D visualization of all hazards. It is perfect for planning the shot. Great accuracy. Easy and fast to use. It is helpful, not distracting. Operating with Apple Watch makes is very handy. It counts the score for you. It is fun to see the 3D map after the game and see spots where you played your ball. Great fun and good tool for planning strategy. The only problem is, the manual for using the Apple Watch is hard to find. It is easy to use, but I am a guy who likes reading the manuals:-). I recommend this app over anything else, that I tried. And I tried 5 or 6 different apps.

3D maps are much easier to use, than satellite views on other apps. It is easy to plan your shots and most of all it is clearly visible in the full sunlight. You can use Apple Watch to track your shots as a digital score card, and the app will record all data of your shots and mark them on the 3D map, so you can browse through the map and analyze every shot after the game. It will also store your statistics for each club, including putter. The app has amazing support team. On Sunday, I played at golf course which was not mapped by the app (not a very popular golf course ). I sent them request to map it, and In few hours I got the score card programmed into the app, with the information that 3D map will be prepared shortly. Amazing service. I truly recommend them over any other app.

GPS is dead on accurate and the different views are great. This app has changed the way I golf and has taken about 10 strokes off my game. Can hardly wait to see what they integrate with the iWatch!

This is a great app and it is especially noteworthy that it is free. NOTE: it needs an update for iOS8 as it will not open. Never had a problem before that.

Great golf GPS program, excellent hole picture/layout & good scorekeeping abilities. Tried it out today on my shiny new iphone 6 & iOS 8 ---> :`( App keeps crashing whenever I try to view the holes. Hopefully theyll have it fixed to work with the latest OS soon.

This is by far the best free golf app out there. Ive tried all of them. The flyovers, the targets, precise yardages, etc. Highly recommend!

It worked a few times and then it just crashes whenever I try to start a new round.

He app is really easy to use and the statistics are great. If youre brand new to the game, keeping track of distances will help you choose the right club. The one major flaw is that the app crashes, a lot. Its usually no big deal and it remember the last shot, but it can get annoying and sometimes it will crash even after restarting it.

it keeps all stat you want such as distance, gir, fairway hit, miss. Lots of features and outstanding map view including 2d, 3d, terrain mode. Its also tell you how far from every hazards. Ive tried other apps and pinned down to few. This app is the winner. However, its always crash!!!! which makes it horrible experience.

It would be nice however if they made it compatible with Apple health.
